Does Peyronie’s disease cause Erectile Dysfunction?
by Jacob Samual

A formation of hardened tissue in the penis, which causes pain, distortion and curvature during erection, indicates symptoms of the Peyronie’s disease. The plaque develops on the upper or lower side of the penis in layers containing erectile tissue. It begins as a localized inflammation and can develop into a hardened scar. In many cases, curves and pains result in erectile dysfunction. If there are several areas of plaque incomplete erection may occur.
